Side 1 tracks: same as the US album
Side 2 tracks: Blueberry Hill / Jailhouse Rock / Treat Me Nice / That’s When Your Heartaches Begin / Have I Told You Lately that I Love You? (LS-5048 only)
The movie, Loving You, was not screened in Japan until April 1958, a few months after the release of the LP.
1950s Elvis album covers, like LS-5048, tended to come in a fairly thin card stock, were thinly laminated and had fold-overs at the back. There are two front cover variants of LS-5048: one has black letters beside ELVIS PRESLEY / LOVING YOU; the other has white letters.
The lyrics to five of the songs appeared on the back cover: Mean Woman Blues / Teddy Bear / Loving You / That’s When Your Heartaches Begin / Have I Told You Lately that I Love You? The blue text on the back cover is in Japanese and relates to the photographs. Unfortunately, the uncredited writer got Elvis’ co-star’s name wrong: she is named as Dolor Hart.
The Japanese text on the Side 1 label is slightly different to that on Side 2 as it points out that the songs are from the Paramount movie, Loving You.
