Description
This is an auction for an ORIGINAL copy of the 1972 release of He Touched / Bosom Of Abraham released in the USA.
The vinyl record itself (74-0651) is in EXCELLENT- condition and retains a lot of it's natural sheen.
The labels are quite bright , however have a name written on one side.
The picture sleeve is much sought after and was listed in a U.S guide book back in 2016 as $140 in the condition it is in now(which i would say is VERY GOOD+ ) for the sleeve alone!!!
There are a few flaws which stop this from grading higher (hence the much lower starting price)
There is some light ringwear (normally much heavier with this release) and some writing on both sides. (see photos)
On the plus side there are NO SEAM SPLITS and the colours are still quite sharp. (see photos)
THIS WOULD MAKE A GREAT AFFORDABLE COLLECTION FILLER UNTIL THAT MINT £190 RECORD AND SLEEVE COME ALONG!!!
This sleeve does not come up for auction very often!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Overall 2 years ago this was valued at $(£146 approx) .I dont have a current price guide but i would say at least £150.
With a starting price at under a third that you might be able to grab yourself a bargain!!!
Please look at my other auctions for some more great Elvis USA picture sleeve lots.
I offer discounted shipping on multiple purchases. (Please request total invoice when through bidding!)
APOLOGIES FOR POSTAGE PRICE INCREASES BUT THIS IS DUE TO ROYAL MAIL RAISING COSTS AS OF MARCH 2019
