ELVIS PRESLEY - “GIRLS! GIRLS! GIRLS!” (LPM-2621), WITH THE RARE 1963 45 RPM CALENDAR! THIS IS A FIRST PRESSING OF THE 1962 ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK RECORDING RECORD: NM- with only a few extremely light paper sleeve scuffs on Side 2. A most stunning Indianapolis pressing that should still play as when brand new! The labels are simply gorgeous, with only a couple very light spindle marks on the Side 2 label. This album was released in November of 1962 and includes the hit single, "Return To Sender / Where Do You Come From". The matrix numbers on this record end with 2S/1S, respectively. COVER: VG with the usual lower right seam split. This one measures 3-1/2 inches in length. This is one tough cover to find without this seam split and RCA Victor finally corrected this problem in 1963, when they began making the covers slightly larger. A 1/2-inch split is seen to the upper right corner and there is wear and chipping along the spine, rendering it only partially legible. Additional edge and corner wear is also noticed. Ring wear is present, although quite minimal. This cover remains very attractive in spite of the wear! INNER SLEEVE: The original "RCA Victor" gray sleeve from the era.
1963 45 RPM Calendar: VG with some light staining and smudging as well as a few bends. The top of the nail hole is broken and there are several dates that are circled or marked, mainly in March and April. Still an attractive piece! This particular calendar was not included inside of the album, but rather given out at record stores after the release of the “Girls! Girls! Girls!” Original Soundtrack Album.
