ELVIS PRESLEY - ELVIS' GOLDEN RECORDS (LPM-1707) - FIRST PRESSING WITH RARE "FABULOUS OFFER" FLYER!

For your consideration, "ELVIS' GOLDEN RECORDS" (LPM-1707), released in 1958 on RCA Victor Records. This album is a First Pressing with no "RE" on the back of the cover and includes a very limited "Fabulous Offer" flyer! This offer was for a booklet of 12 Elvis Presley pictures for only 25 cents!

RECORD: EXCELLENT with just some very light paper sleeve scuffs. I played this record in its entirety and the sound was fantastic all the way through! The labels are very clean with just some light spindle marks. This is really a clean record that has obviously been adult-owned since new! The matrix numbers on this Hollywood pressing end with 6S/10S. 

COVER:  EXCELLENT with very minimal ring wear. All of the white areas are very clean! Very light foxing is seen on the back, near the spine. There is a lower seam break at the center of about 2-inches from the record sliding downward within the cover. No further seam splits on this cover! There is a very small area of paper lift to the upper left corner on the back where a price sticker was removed. This is the very earliest of covers for this album with no "RE" following the record number to the upper right corner on the back. This cover has the original verbiage in the last paragraph of the first column of the text from "After thirty-one grueling 'takes', a satisfactory master was finally made". Covers with the "RE" have that paragraph stating as "After several rehearsal 'takes', a satisfactory master was finally made". This is a very clean, original and complete copy of "ELVIS' GOLDEN RECORDS" and is sure to please!

INSERT:  "Fabulous Offer" flyer is in excellent condition with just some lower right corner bending and some light wrinkles from handling. The opposite corner tip has a bit of paper transfer that is brownish, as though it got stuck to the flyer on the back side; very minor. this "Fabulous Offer" Coupon is easily VG+ with no missing corners, tears or writing. This is a rare item by itself as not many are left in existence. Jerry Osborne, in his "Presleyana VII" has this piece valued at $300 in Near Mint! These were included with "ELVIS' GOLDEN RECORDS" ONLY and supplies were completely exhausted by the time that The "RE" cover showed up in record shops. This is a genuine "Fabulous Offer" coupon! Counterfeits do exist and I have actually seen one. This original is printed on an ivory colored paper and the heading is made up of very tiny dots that are blurred when copied. This one is sharp!

INNER SLEEVE:  The original RCA Victor inner sleeve with a list of Best-Selling Albums is on the back. "Loving You" is shown under the "Popular" category! There is a bottom split and one small side split.
