Description
This is an auction for an Original copy of the HARD TO FIND 1958 EP release Christmas With Elvis released in the USA.
The record itself (EPA-4340 dog on top) is in VERY GOOD+ condition with some visible marks/scratches.(nothing too deep or drastic though)
The centre labels have NO WRITING , however do have some ringwear/rubbing.(see photos)
This is also the RARE issue WITHOUT SILVER LINE!
The THICK CARDBOARD picture sleeve is much sought after and was listed in a U.S guide book back in 2008 as $100 in the condition it is in now(which i would say is VERY GOOD+ ) for the sleeve alone!!!
This sleeve is 57 years old and is still in reasonable condition for the age..
There are NO RIPS or TEARS(see photos)
The only things that stop this from grading even higher is some light ringwear/scuff marks/discolouration, partial seam splits on the side and both top and bottom and some writing on the front in pen and a pencil price on the rear.(see photos)
That said , This is a really affordable addition to fill any collection until that mint $300 record and sleeve come along!!.
The record is also stored in a separate paper sleeve to prevent anymore wear to this RARE sleeve!!
Overall 2 years ago this was valued at $200 (£130+ approx) .I dont have a current price guide but i would say at least £140.
THIS REALLY IS A HARD TO FIND TO SLEEVE!!!
With a LOW START and NO RESERVE you might be able to grab yourself a bargain!!!
