Description

Vinyl- VG++, Sleeve-  VG

Up for bid is an original release copy of Elvis's 1959 album, "For LP Fans Only", RCA Victo LPM-1990. Released while he was serving in the military, this album is a combination of previously released 45's plus unreleased studio material from 1956. The vinyl has the RCA Victor black and silver label. The vinyl is in great shape with every cut ranging from VG+ to Excellent. The outer sleeve is in VG to VG+ condition.  The spine and corners are in very good condition- no splits or tears and very light wear. The bottom seam is intact except for about 1/4 inch at the opening and the top seam has a 1 1/2" split at the opening. The front and rear photographs are in excellent condition with nearly all of the gloss remaining and very light ringwear, very difficult to see on the front especially. The inner sleeve is original as you can see in the picture, featuring albums from '59. It is marked along the edge in very fine writing "For LP Fans Only  5-29-61".
