Awesome RARITIES from Elvis!

"Burning Love Records"

Item:  "Old Shep"  Mega Rare Promo

Catalog Number:   CR-15

Condition Of Item:    /M

Year of Issue:   12-56

Today's Auctions:  Today I have some incredible Promo's that have taken me 30 years to accumulate.  All of these are the original RCA US editions, some of these have been bootlegged, not here.  I will explain each and how you can tell they are the real thing.  Best of all these promo's are all in terrific shape, these are the absolute best I have ever come across.  Check oout each and every one of these, not sure you will ever have an opportunity to find these incredible Elvis rarities.

Closer Look At the Item:   Here is one of my proudest finds, this one came into my collection in the winter of 1982 from a daughter of a former record executive in the Seattle area.  Here father had kept this record after recieving it in late 1956 and never played it, having a inkling that this "Presley kid" might amount to something.  Well he was right and this record is probably the finest original that still exists in the world today.  This record is simply perfect, she said ti had never been played and after inspecting the record I have and had no doubt about her story, it just is beautiful and as mint as can be.  This is the real thing of course, this one has been bootlegged, but the boot has engraved matrix, not here, these matrix numbers are stamped in the trail off vinyl.  If you want a record in the kind of condition that probably will never be duplicated, this is it.  Again this one was valued at $1000, throw the books out, this record is rarer than that and in this shape, well, I will let the bidders decide, $9.99 starts it with no reserve!!!

Note on Packaging:  All items are in shipped in mylar resealable sleeves, the  finest in the industry today.  Also the records are not packaged inside the original sleeves, instead packaged separately in a generic sleeve so no damage to the sleeve occurs in transit.

Rating Guide:

Mint (M):  Perfect in every way, looks to have never been played, should have that look just as it did when you pulled the record from the new cover at the time of original purchase.

Mint Minus (M-):  A nearly perfect record and cover.  This item should show no readily visible signs of wear,  covers and sleeves should have no more than nearly invisible rings or other signs of slight wear and vinyl should still be completely glossy and shiney, just the very lightest hint of wear if it is tilted to very bright light.

Very Good Plus (VG+):  This record will show some signs that it was played and otherwise handled carefully by the previous owner.  Record surfaces will show some light signs of paper scuffing or light scratches, that don't affect the listening experience.  Slight warps that do not affect sound are OK.  This disc should still contain much of its original luster and sheen.  The covers and picture sleeves should also be in very nice shape, they may have light ring wear or other signs of wear, may have a small cut out hole, indention or stamping present.  Also there can be non obvious writing on the paper goods.

Very Good (VG):  Many of the defects found in the VG+ record and cover will be present but more pronounced in the VG item.  Surface noise will be evident, although the record should play through without skipping or repeating.  Groove wear will now be noticable, scuffing and light scratching will be appearent, a scratch now can be felt with a fingernail.  Labels will be marred with tape or tape residue, stickers or descret writing.  The same will be true for the LP cover or picture sleeve.

Good (G):  Good does not mean bad!  A record in good condition should be placed on a turntable and it should play through, all though the surface noise will be evident.  A cover or picture sleeve will have seam splitting, especially on the bottom seam or spine.  Also there will be noticable ring wear caused by the presence of the record.  The defects will start to overwhere this item.

Fair (F) or Poor (P):  This record will be cracked, badly warped, and will not play through without skipping or repeating.  The picture sleeeve or LP cover will show lots and lots of wear, the seams will be split on all three sides barely able to hold the record.  This item will appear near valueless, unless of course it is a rarity that may not be seen again.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!
