'Item Description'
Overall: Here is an original pressing from November of 1956, Elvis' second album. This original pressing was released in a number of different variations, many with ads for other RCA artists on the back cover. There are around 15 ad back variations identified, however, that number still from time to time changes as new ones are discovered. This is the ad back that features George Beverly Shea at top left and Perry Como at bottom right.
Cover: Another very nice original, the front cover on this is very close to flawless, nice color, just a tiny bit of wear at the top center, sort of where Elvis is looking in the picture. You can see it is very light. The back cover is also excellent, has a bit of a bump at top right, it is slight and there is also the original store price written there in pencil. The white background is very very strong, unusual for this age of an album, displays very very nicely.
Edges and Spine: The bottom edge on this cover is in great shape, no wear to report, the top edge has some wear, no splits, but some of the white color is worn. The spine is totally readable and really little to no wear on three quarters of the spine, only up near the top near the catalog number is there a bit of cracking, less than an inch, again, no splits.
Vinyl Record: The record has been played, it has maintained some its original glossy surface, however there is plenty of paper scuffs on the playable portion of the record, can't see any sort of scratches that penetrate or scratch the vinyl tracking, but it has had plenty of use.
Other: Inner sleeve in nice shape, no splits, tears, etc. This is the original generic RCA sleeve that would have accompanied the record.

I no longer make partial refunds where you keep the item and request a partial refund, refunds only made upon the return of the original item in the same condition it was purchased.
