Description
This is a rare one. For a few months in 1963, RCA did away with it's "LIVING STEREO" record label and went with a plain "STEREO". Only a couple of the soundtrack albums with produced with this new label. Recently other titles have shown up with this rare variation. Here's a G.I Blues with the Silver RCA VICTOR at the top and just plain "STEREO" at the bottom. What makes this copy even more rare, is that the label on side 1, list the songs from side 2 and vise versa !! Check out the photos of the back cover & the labels. I have been collecting Elvis records for a long time and people in the business and those I have spoken with, have never seen one of these. The cover is old & worn and has been neatly taped up in it's weak spots. (This can be replaced as thse covers have remained the same in it's early production. (see the "LIVING STEREO" at the upper right. The LP itself however is in better condition. while it has surface scratches, it does NOT over power the great tunes on this excellent release. Good luck on this one !!
