Description
Very presentable copy of Elton John’s classic 1971 album, containing the timeless ‘Tiny Dancer’. Superb songwriting, musicianship and arrangements throughout. Any album produced by the late Gus Dudgeon sounds great in my opinion. Matrix numbers are A1/B4, certainly an early pressing but maybe not a first pressing? The name ‘RASPUTIN’ is etched on the dead wax on Side 2.
Sleeve Ex Fully-textured. Generally light storage wear and rubbing, mainly to the corners. Small sticker tear on the front cover. The stapled-in booklet is in Ex condition.
Labels Ex+ Very clean. Light spindle traces only.
Inner VG Original polylined bag. Age-yellowing and storage creasing.
Record Translucent red vinyl when held up to the light. Visually Ex/Ex+, nice shine to the vinyl. One or two very light scuffs seen in normal light. Plays VG+/Ex throughout, clear and powerful audio with some light crackle here and there. But really not bad at all for a 48 year-old record!
