Description
This is the original deep groove RVG-etched pressing of Elmo Hope “Meditations” on the West 50th St. labels of Prestige PRLP 7010. The flat rim playing surface appears to be in excellent condition, with a beautiful luster; possibly played only once; unfortunately, the pressing is basically ticky, particularly on Side B where there is also an audible mark towards the end of the last track. The coated frame West 50th St. cover is clean and bright throughout; slight rubbing on the front; the bottom seam has a 1” break at the center and ¾” wear at the opening. Original glassine inner sleeve is included. Personnel include John Ore and Willie Jones. $100.00.
