Description

Elmo Hope on 10” Blue Note 5044

This is the original 10” deep-groove “P”-pressing of Elmo Hope “Quintet” on the Lexington Avenue labels of Blue Note BLP 5044.  The flat rim playing surface is in near-new condition, with just a small inaudible scuff on Side 1, Track 3; perhaps played once or twice.  The coated frame cover is also in near-new condition – bright and clean throughout.

Personnel include Frank Foster, Freeman Lee, Percy Heath, and Art Blakey.
