!!!SIGNED!!! by Duke Ellington and his band  Four signatures in inside cover:

  • Duke Ellington
  • Johnny Hodges
  • Harry Carney
  • unclear but possibly Oscar Pettiford
Signatures are clear and crisp and written in a variety of inks. Likely signed a bit after the release of the records. If the questionable signature is, in fact Oscar Pettiford, then this places the signatures between 1945 and 1948 when he was part of Duke's band.
Released in 1943, Ellingtonia Vol 1 is an early compilation of his music on 4 10" Shellac 78 RPM records.
