Description

Elbow - The Definitive 7 LP Vinyl Box Set Plus All 7 LPs in WAV format on USB Fiction Records Label - Catalogue Number: 3711518
Released in 2012, this is a 7 LP set that comes in a slip box and comes complete with a USB stick that contains all 7 LPs in WAV format. Each album is a double LP that comes in a gatefold cover. More specifically, the set contains 5 of their studio albums plus an album of B-sides and also The Seldom Seen Kid Live At Abbey Road. The set was limited to just 2000 copies. Also comes with an LP sized sheet giving brief details of each album as seen in one of the photos.  This sheet came glued to one side of the case and it has remained there.
The set is no longer sealed. I bought this set myself at the time but have never played any of the albums, or even removed them from their sleeves, until now. I have taken each one out and examined them under a halogen lamp because I know from painful experience that today's standards of new vinyl is not what it used to be, with it not being unusual for brand new vinyl to be scratched.  
I have detailed the condition of each record below, and while I did find some faint marks on some of the records I need to point out that the halogen lamp does pick out even the slightest marks on records.  However, please be assured that this is how they arrived and these marks will have absolutely no effect on how they play. Indeed, under normal lighting conditions you will not see these marks. I just detail them here so that you know exactly what you are getting and that there are no disappointments. Additionally, I only use Near Mint to describe records that have absolutely no marks, even under the lamp, but have been 'unsealed'.
All sleeves and inners are pristine and Mint unless stated below.  However, the slip case itself has a nasty 'ding' on one edge. Yes, you guessed it, I dropped it when I was doing the photographs! Otherwise, the case is pretty much in perfect condition. There are also a couple of light but long scratches across the 'Elbow' side of the box, and you can see these scratches in the photo. There is also a further 'ding' on one edge of this side. 
All labels are clean and unmarked.
1. Dead In the Boot. In gatefold with printed inners with lyrics and album description by Guy Garvey. 2 x 45rpm LPs. Side A has two faint scuffs and is graded as EX+. Side B is unmarked Near Mint. Side C has two faint scuffs identical to side A and is EX+. Side D is unmarked Near Mint. 2. Asleep In The Back. 2 LPs in a gatefold cover with printed inners that have album details and photoss. A side is unmarked Near Mint. Side B has the faintest scuff type mark and is EX+. Both sides C and D are unmarked Near Mint. 3. Cast Of Thousands. 2 LPs in a gatefold cover with printed inners. Side A has the faintest scuff and is EX+. Side B is unmarked Near Mint. Side C has the faintest scuffing and is EX+. Side D is unmarked Near Mint. 4. Build A Rocket Boys! 2 x 45rpm LPs in a gatefold cover with lovely silver gilt to the front and lyrics printed inside the gatefold, as well as printed inners.  All sides are unmarked Near Mint. 5. Elbow And The BBC Concert Orchestra - The Seldom Seen Kid Live At Abbey Road. 2 LPs in a gatefold sleeve with photos of the session inside the gatefold. Printed inners that give the background to the session. All sides are unmarked Near Mint. One inner has a hint of ringwear. 6. The Seldom Seen Kid. 2 LPs in a gatefold cover with lyrics printed inside. Plain white paper die-cut inners. All sides are unmarked Near Mint. 7. Leaders of The Free World. 2 x 45rpm LPs. In gatefold sleeve with lyrics inside and printed inners. All sides are in unmarked Near Mint condition. 
All photos are of the actual set. I wish I could include more photos of the set but eBay has a limit of only 12. These are NOT stock photos!
I will dispatch the set as quickly as possible, most likely on the same day or on the next working day. However, this is a very special set and I want to ensure that it is packaged up as well as possible, so I will not rush this process. Sorry about the postage cost - the whole package will weigh over 5KG.
