Dire financial straits resulting from loss of monetary income and inability to find employment compel me to part with the last of my treasured vinyl stash: my personalized, signed and autographed copies of rare and out-of-print LP editions. Even though I no longer own a turntable and listen only to CDs at this point, it pains me to let go of these albums, which were personally autographed to me on occasions of meeting the artists. 1971  Apple Records LP by  Alexandro Jodorowsky entitled El Topo (Original Motion Picture Score) – Yep, this is the extremely rare soundtrack to the legendary original midnight movie – John Lennon saw the film in New York City and had his mind blown, so he saw to it that the soundtrack LP was released on the Beatles’ record label – Packaged in a beautiful gatefold cover with stills from the film and an interview with the composer/director in the centerfold, plus four color pages of four large still scenes from the movie – If you’ve seen the movie, you know what the music is like: whimsical circus band tunes alternating with lyrical melodies on flutes and strings and occasional weird dissonant passages – The signature in gold ink on the front reads: “To Ferrara, Jodorowsky” – Cover and disc are both in excellent condition (the back cover has a small ding on the lower right corner, the top edge of the cover is worn, but otherwise the sleeve is clean and unmarred; as for the disc, there is very minor wear and surface noise, but no scratches or warping) (the white spot in the center of the front cover on the supplied photo is the reflection of the camera flash, not a defect in the cover)
