Educate Your Dog By The Eisenmann Method, LP Record HTF

I am auctioning off some of the items given to me by my close and personal friend, Charles "Chuck"  Eisenmann.   I'll give you a bit of our history after the item description.  Not sure anyone other than myself cares about this though---but at least you will know the history that is attached to this keepsake.

Up for auction is the only album/LP record Chuck ever made.  In all of my searches, I've only seen one (1) other copy so I feel justified in saying how rare it is.  The album/record is titled: 

Educate Your Dog By The Eisenmann Method 

Recorded and released in 1975.

SIDE I
1. Preface
2. Learn to observe your dog as he observes you. Never overlook a single glance or movement.
3. Always be positive when judging the reasons for your dog's actions.
4. Learn how to use mental instead of physical approaches to both training and punishing your dog.
5. Gain control of your dog by using the mental instead of physical leash.

SIDE II
6. Never ask your dog to perform a task which he mentally understands but physically cannot accomplish.
7. Learn to compliment and reward properly.
8. Do not use single word commands. They limit a dog's potential.
9. Learn the danger of a dog's physical and mental reflexes.
10. Use the five fundamental sounds in conjunction with the things your dog has been trained to do.
11. Make common sense your final guide.
12. Summary

This particular record was out of Chuck's private collection,  and when he gave it to me it was still sealed in the plastic wrap.   At some point in time, I must have removed the plastic wrap but I can say that it's never played.   I've always kept it in the jacket.  Looking at the record today, I see no signs of wear or any scratches on either Side 1 or Side 2.   It looks like it should, brand new and in pristine condition. 

I've listened to the album before (Chuck's copy) and it's wonderful to hear him talking.  I can still hear the tone of Chuck's voice in my head.  Some might find this odd (even though I don't) but he spoke to his dogs just as he spoke to people.  It was remarkable.

A bit of history:  Our friendship dates back to  1958, in Memphis, TN.  We first met at the theater I was working at as a "soda jerk" (lol) when his film, The Littlest Hobo, was showing on the silver screen.  Oh, those were the days.

Chuck and I struck up an immediate friendship (strictly platonic) and the rest is history.  We remained in contact, even ended up living in Oregon at the same time in later years.   Chuck's unfortunate stroke, which affected his memory and quality of life,  has us separated today.  I keep tabs on his condition but sadly enough, his condition has not improved. 

I ultimately went to work for Chuck, selling copies of his 8x10 photos, and then, later on,  I typed some of the manuscripts for a couple of his books.  Also, I was his house sitter when Chuck was out of town filming or touring with his dogs.

There is more to my story but that will appear in a book I am writing about my life and the people I have met throughout the years.  I feel honored to have known and worked for Chuck and I will always treasure our friendship.   He is one of the kindest men I have ever known.
