Description
EDISON (Thomas A. Edison, Inc. Orange N.J.) "Needle Type Electric" Record No. 14052 "My Dream Memory" (L side) "Love Divine" (R side) Performed by Waldo Mayo, Violinist and His Ensemble (Singing by the Frohne Sisters) Somewhat scarce, Edison's late entry lateral cut, electrically recorded, disc. Introduced in 1929 just a short time before Edison stopped all phonograph and record production. These recordings feature excellent sound for the period and reflect Edison's concern to achieve maximum fidelity as with the vertical cut Diamond Disc records. This copy is in Good condition, A small portion of the label is worn off on the L side near the title, this may be seen in the photo.
