289.  If there are any Edison discs more sought after than the electrically recorded dance bands, it would be the electrically recorded classical selections.  This meager series consists of only 24 issued records.  This example is the second of a two record set - sorry, we don't have the first.  But if you do, then you NEED this record!  The disc is in very good condition.  It shows a little label wear, as well as a very small rim flake (nowhere near the grooves) and some light and non-sounding surface marks and rubs.  There are no scores, scratches, flaking edges, worn grooves or any other major defects, so the record plays very well.  I'll grade it an 8 on a scale of 10.
