My father is the original owner and purchaser of this album. He purchased it the day prior to the concert, which was held in 1967 at a local hall in Superior, AZ. He drove to Phoenix to the closest Sears Department store and purchased the album in hopes of getting Eddie to sign the album. Sadly, he did not get the signature, but he cherished this album until he passed it on to me. The first father daughter dance I ever had with my father was age 3 to El Mosquito. This album was passed on to me upon his passing. I have played it a couple of times, and one last time the day, we decided to list it for sale. It plays fantastic throughout. It has the light pops expected for an album that is 58 years old and there are no skips. When we DJ'd, I had a burned copy of this album. When I would spin El Mosquito, the dance floor would fill up, and the people would come up afterward and ask what the song was. This is a classic Tex-Mex Surf album that is a must-have for any music collector and guitar enthusiast.
