Description
Artist : Eddie Cochran
LP Title : Singin' To My Baby
Label : London / HA-U 2093 / 1957
Matrix Numbers : AVL-768-1B (the "V" is overstamped with an "X") [Stamper 2 1 , G] / AXL-769-1B [Stamper 2 1 , H (or "N"?) ]
Notes : Original UK pressing with purple labels, lined inner sleeve, laminated spineless flipback sleeve with matt rear.
Condition : The vinyl is VG, the surface is somwehat dusty in places and would benefit from further cleaning (other than the quick dust that we gave it), we have listened to the entire album and it plays EX with a lovely warmth of sound, it has hairline markings that just give out the odd crackle and minor tick or tiny click in places, certainly no pops or jumps, the labels have spindle marking from use and there is a black stain to the side 1 label where a small name tag was originally taped [see photo], the inner sleeve has some creasing and light marking, the thin outer sleeve hasn't faired so well, it is rather worn and creased [see photos] with corner rubbing, and various crease lines to the laminate plus a 6mm tear on the opening edge and a previous owner's name has been written inside, the rear matt surface has general marking across its surface and the lower flipback seam is coming away.
