From the collection of a noted Australian rock’n’roll and entertainment historian comes this great piece of Australian rock history. Easybeats. Friday On My Mind. Australian pressing only available in Australia. 1970. World Record Club. WRC S-4801. This was basically the same album as the Easybeats’ first North American album, also called Friday On My Mind, released in 1967 – which was itself the Good Friday album released in the UK the same year. There was one variation between the UK and US releases - the UK album had Hound Dog, which was replaced by (Make You Feel Alright) Women on the US release. This album has these tracks but in a different order than the UK or US albums, while Women is titled Women (Make You Feel Alright). This is a solid, heavy piece of vinyl, a real delight to play. The record itself is in Near Mint condition. Looks unplayed. A little crackle and pop. Cover in Very Good + condition, some age spotting and ring wear but sharp clear colours on heavy stock, really remarkable for its age.
