The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint. 100% of new value NEAR MINT / NM:
The record shows only some minor signs of having been played once or twice. Slight hair scuffs due to having taken it out of the sleeve may occur. The sound quality is almost perfect and a deterioration hardly can be heard. The sleeve may have some minor creasing but shows no wear at all. ~90% of new value EXCELLENT / EX:
The record shows some signs of having been played but there is only little lessening in sound quality. Some slight audible deterioration may be heard. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. ~75% of new value VERY GOOD / VG:
The record has obviously been played many times but displays no major deterioration in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.
