Scarce UNI inner sleeve!

Full blown fusion progressive moves (Van der Graaf Generator, Gentle Giant,  from the turn of 1970 with reeds and concept narratives. Musically, this is in a similar vein to their also sought after other two albums.
"Peace For Our Time" is a concept album against the war and its consequences (eg, hunger and environmental degradation).
Each of the tracks begins with a brief spoken introduction, in a historic, mostly war-related event is described, followed by a moral world-improving warning or confirmation.

Layered within the whole thing,  each track containing a slightly dissonant jumble of sound;   amind a complex mix of different instruments and threatening surging organ. The conceptual touches on the theatrics in reality of Pearl Harbor / Hiroshima, the Korean War, the Russian invasion of Czechoslovakia and Vietnam all accumulating to the last track, the "Constitution Of Life" by acid guru Timothy Leary with a higher key meaning far past the need to engage in aggression of war.
Dominated by roaring organ tones & rhythmic support backed by pretty powerful bass and drums. In general, in the mix are punctuated and sweeping solos and duets by the two blowers working on various winds ala saxophones, flutes, oboe and clarinet that deliver a full round backdrop much in the vein of other highly regarded UK progressives in the 1970+ time frame. Sometimes they jam on a vibraphone, a complex keyboard part or a nifty guitar solo.

WARM DUST front member Dransfield Walker sings more than ever on "And It Came To Pass", his voice is occasionally electronically altered, for effect. Overall "Peace For Our Time" is an album full of serious playing, as such it has gathered much interest by collectors.

Warm Dust are clearly at their best when they pull jazz-prog-rock moves in the form of long sequences, the lines of the various instruments devour in complex moves, like in the middle of "Justify The Things Your Hands Have Done". Several tracks like “Rejection” and “Wind Of Change” veer towards prog/jazz with exception of “Wrote A Letter”, being an acoustic bluesy number with interesting lyrics.
