Firstly a bit of history of the album.....HELP was the BEATLES' 5th album coming out on the 6th August 1965. The premier of the album was played in London on the 29th July. Once again reaching the top spot in all record magazines of that era...as they had done with the previous four albums!

With only a few very, VERY light (and insignificant) marks to the vinyl-she produced a SUPERB DYNAMIC, CLEAN & CLEAR audio throughout playback.

CERTAINLY NO JUMPS OR SKIPS

After giving her a gentle ultrasonic clean, followed by a vacuum clean, I have just played her all the way through and was VERY happy with the clarity of audio playback...The run-ins were as wonderfully quiet as you could hope for with a slab of vinyl from almost 60 years ago :)

All I could critically notice were a few very light and soft tics on the 1st track, side 1...But these wouldn’t even be normally mentioned unless being rather critical...Certainly nothing to ruin the enjoyment of the rich playback.

Lovely, rich sound with clear peaks and bassy troughs.

Still perfectly flat too.

Lovely and clear...Just a handful of light spindle marks-only really visible when angled towards the light.

Very little central hole wear.

Has the rarer GOTHIC font to both sides.

DOES have the "Sold in the uk.." text. .

Lovely strong, clean & clear spine and even the top and bottom has evidence of the original factory pinching :)

There are only around 3 tiny (1cm) crescents of spidering to the laminate, with a few small fingers of spidering emanating from the seams.

I could only fault a tiny 5mm nick to the opening-again, I am rather critical here...I have taken a detailed image of this for you to see how insignificant it is.

With just INCREDIBLY light discolouration to the back card this really is a TOP NOTCH COVER-please see the detailed images for yourselves.

Wondefully strong Garrod & Lofthouse flipbacks.

ALSO HAS THE "PATENTS PENDING" STATEMENT TO THE BOTTOM RIGHT CORNER.

A FANTASTIC EXAMPLE HERE

It is the correct "USE EMITEX" inner, with the tracing paper lining.

Barely even any discolouration!

'MADE IN ENGLAND' text printed to the bottom right corner.

SO, HERE IS A CLASSIC PIECE OF BEATLES HISTORY IN GREAT SHAPE AND SOLID CONDITION.

STILL SOUNDS AS FRESH TODAY AS WHEN SHE WAS RELEASED TO THE MASSES BACK IN 1965

ALL COMPLETE WITH THE CORRECT PERIOD INNER TOO AND THE RARER GOTHIC FONT LABELS.
