Napalm Records 2022 – Jewel Case CD - Belgian metallers EVIL INVADERS are back! Their fourth album, Shattering Reflection is a high-energy attack with the typical mixture of death, thrash and speed metal spiced up with progressive elements. This mix is a clear homage to scene greats of the 80s like Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Razor and Exciter. The previous album Feed Me Violence (2017) was celebrated by both fans and the international press. In addition, the guys have a lot to offer live, which they have already proven at some of the world's most important festivals, such as Summer Breeze, Wacken Open Air and Graspop Metal Meeting.

The Belgians' latest work begins with two pounding tracks: "Hissing in Crescendo" boasts fast riffing and pounding drums driven by Joe's high-pitched vocals. This is followed by the epic anthem "Die For Me" which retains the immense energy of the first song. The powerful mid-tempo track "Forgotten Memories" shows a quieter side, creating a dense wall of sound underscored by heavy guitars. "In Deepest Black" is an equally stirring song that showcases the band's versatility with melodic guitar lines and catchy choruses. The quartet offers a furious outburst with "Sledgehammer Justice", in which they mix up traditional heavy metal with speed metal elements and underline them with massive solos. Throughout the album, the band manages the balancing act between energetic, classic thrash and calmer instrumental inserts like "Aeon " and "Darkness" creating a sombre atmosphere. Shattering Reflection is a monster of an album, leaving the listener with brute sound and impatient to experience this spectacle live on stage!
