INCLUDES PERFECT LYRIC INNER SHEET The pointed messages about racism and revolution on this 1971 Atlantic LP sparked controversy and led the label to virtually cease promotional efforts. It thus entered into cult-classic-dom.
Headless Heroes of the Apocalypse is an album of American soul music by artist Eugene McDaniels, released in 1971.
As with McDaniel's previous album, this is not a typical Soul album, which can even be seen by the cover image (a picture of McDaniels screaming between two warring samurai).
This album dabbles in form between soul, Funk, jazz and even folk. In addition, it has been a collector's item among rap music and rare groove enthusiasts since the early 90s when several of the songs were sampled by many hip hop producers including Pete Rock and Q-Tip.

We don't give page long descriptions of items you already know about or how wonderful the track listing is. Google is your friend if you don't already know! Simply put-our grading and the multitude of pictures we try and provide are the best description possible. A picture is worth a 1000 words.
We do ship worldwide through the USPS, however the buyer assumes all responsibility for the item arriving safely. We do not use the ebay shipping portal, but prefer to physically go and check the shipping cost of an item going overseas. All single LP's are $14.95 to most of the world it seems. We have shipped to Israel, France, U.K., Russion Federation....all successfully, but please be aware once it leaves our hands and a Customs Form filled out, it's safe arrival in your country is out of our hands.
