Up for auction is ETTA JAMES, "ETTA JAMES" lp (ARGO LP 4013, HIGH FIDELITY), in RARE US ARGO 1st ORIGINAL MONO pressing, in FINE VG++ CONDITION!!!
Hard cardboard cover is in VG++ condition, NO seam splits, NO writing, only slight edge wear and even more slight ageing on a few spots on back near opening, spine is perfectly intact!!! See the “CHESS” horse head clip on back, is really nice!!!
Vinyl looks fine VG++, has only a few hairlines and two spots but keeps nice gloss and shine, plays very close to VG++ and I grade very strictly!!! There is ONLY light background noise, but only occasionally on most quiet passages or between a few tracks, SOUND IS ABSOLUTELY CRISPY CLEARLY CLEAN AND LOUD WITHOUT ANY DISTRACTED OR ANNOYING NOISE!!! Maybe a nice cleaning would improve the whole audio result even more, but I'll leave that job to you!!!
Labels (ORIGINAL turquoise/dark green with gold print, ULTRA HIGH FIDELITY beside vertical “ARGO”, AUDIO ODYSSEY BY ARGO MONO indication) are in CLEAN VG+ condition, due to pen writing on one side, (see pic), other side is clean, NO any wear, NO marks, NO taping!!!
Later CADET inner sleeve is in fine VG+ condition, slight ageing wear, typical seam splits from use, NO creases!
Extremely hard to find THIS RARE FIST ORIGINAL RELEASE in OVERALL STRONG VG+ condition!!!
