Rare BLACK LABEL ARGO ETTA JAMES 45
"SEVEN DAY FOOL" backed with "IT’S TOO SOON TO KNOW"

This is the very hard to find Black and Silver Argo Label pressing of this 45. The brown label variation of this 45 is a nice find, but the black label version is quite a rarity. As usual, Etta just nails the vocals on both sides, making this a great R&B two-sider.

The sound clips were recorded from the actual 45 being offered, with no filtering or enhancing of any kind.
This 45 is very clean and retains much of its original glossy luster. It has been stored inside a paper 45 sleeve. Under a lamp the vinyl shows some superficial marking in the dead wax areas, likely pressed that way. A close look at the record shows a few very light and small surface scuffs and a few light pressing imperfections. The record looks like it has had just a small number of careful plays and the labels are in exceptional shape. The record plays with some surface noise and a bit of ticking.
This 45 will be placed between pieces of cardboard inside a paper 45 sleeve for protection during shipping.
