Description
ESQUIRES NOW - Born To Win - RARE ISLAND FUNK !! Original Issue
Superb and sought-after Caribbean jams pressed in minute quantities : super-rare !!
Condition (Cover / Vinyl): EX / EX+ Lightest ringwear apparent to top of sleeve front and faintest wear on corner and lower edge, almost nothing. Rear cover shows a little ring-dirt rubbed on from close stacking. No seam splits, no spine wear, no writing anywhere. Vinyl looking very nice with a few lightest spindle marks at centre suggesting occasional playing. Pressed in Barbados and the vinyl surface shows a little patterning as is sometimes found on Jamaican pressings but this does not sound at all or interfere with playing quality which is crisp. Labels are clean and clear and bright.
Comments: A great opportunity to grab this one ! All postage includes the signed-for service - apologies for the cost of this but eBay and PayPal require proof of delivery. However, you only pay the signed-for cost once, so each additional purchase costs an absolute maximum of 30% of the first item's postage charge in the UK, much less for overseas. I don't make money on shipping. Mail me if you have any further questions before bidding.
Shipping: The shipping cost is clearly stated, all items are sent signed-for in new mailers with stiffening both sides. Please do not bid on items and then bleat about the shipping costs, instead complain to PayPal about requiring proof of delivery (good luck). Likewise, please do not bid if you do not have the money, your PayPal is suspended, your dog has just died or you are still living with your mum - payment is required within 7 days of auction end, no timewasters please.
Grading: is generally per UK Record Collector standards and the cover will only be graded if it is specific to the record. All gradings are visual only unless stated otherwise in the comments above. If you wish to have a more full explanation of grades, look here - plain black sleeves or company sleeves are not graded. The photos were done using my A3 scanner which sometimes leaves the colours looking a bit washed out, and sometimes with a dot pattern or stripes. It is also not that great on silver or gold print.
