BURNING VIBRATIONS
12" LP, UK, c. 1979, Cat.Nr. BV 1005
ERROL BAILEY
RED HOT DUB
ORIGINAL PRESS (NOT A RE-PRESS)
a rare and great dub album from the UK...original riddims and a very refined production near to Sir Collins's mid70s works make this a stand-out-record...just listen and get convinced...don't miss!!!!
WAX condition: ex / ex, both sides show hardly any surface wear, plays great with full punch as it should be!
LABEL condition: A-side perfect / B-side perfect - watch the scan, please!
SLEEVE condition: vg+, some general wear, especially round the corners
Something 'bout Sound + Vision: We shouldn't rely on visual appearance alone - therefore these records are graded after their visual appearance and their sound quality! I personally prefer a record with crackling but strong sound + punch to one playing clean but with surface noise from the pressing (as we find with re-pressed discs - too - often). Grading records is a very subjective thing but I try hard to be objective as a human being can be (yes indeed, this seller is a human being).
And that’s my Vinyl Grading Scale:
EX (= really great - EX means "excellent", really...)
VG (= nice, if you don't have an excellent one - by the way: VG means "very good"...)
G (= playable, but you might find a better one - G means "good", but this term may be a bit euphemistic to reggae-vinyl-novices. Be realistic: a record graded G doesn't jump nor stick, but that's the best I can say about it...)
P (= just a collection-filler for the hard-edged + hardest-boiled collectors + selectors + all the rudegals out there - P stands for "poor", yunno...)
