"WRANGLIN'" - The Ernest Ranglin Trio - MEGA RARE UK ORIGINAL LP - Rare white label edition - Island ILP 909. - What a great find, rarely do i see or even hear of copies of this OUTSTANDING album being available!!!!! - The VERY attractive flip back cover is complete and without splits or tears but does have some very minor but acceptable edge wear and a couple of light corner dings, plus of course it has the superb artwork of Parboo Singh!!!! - the disc is bright and shiny and plays superbly with just a couple of light ticks and I DO MEAN A COUPLE and I DO MEAN LIGHT (See photos)!!!!! otherwise it is a perfect performance, tracked on my equipment at 1.6 gms. What's to say about this AWESOME performance by this genius of Britjazz???? - Accompanied by the great Alan Ganley on drums and Malcolm Cecil's impeccable bass, this is a true joy of jazz performance! - Ranglin's very individual approach and his wonderful and constant swing are eminently obvious thruout this LP. - Tracks are: "Linstead Market", "Angelina", a pretty cleverly penned Ranglin original, Bernstein's, "Tonight", 2 more originals from this great man, "Wranglin'" and "Reflections" and finally Julie Styne's great classic, "Just in time". - DON'T MISS THIS ONE!!! - YOU'LL WAIT A LONG TIME TO FIND ANOTHER COPY OF THESE VERY LIMITED WHITE ISLAND PRESSINGS.
