A beautiful original copy of    Ernest Ranglin "Rum Raisin" lp on RRR Records (US press, 1985, original). Little-seen jazz effort from the legendary reggae guitarist! Please Note: This record is a Jazz record, but the artist is more well known to reggae listeners, which is why I listed it here . For many years Ernie musically directed jimmy cliff's top reggae band. Ernie was Bob Marley's arranger on their first hit,"it hurt to be alone" the name Ernie Ranglin is know throughout the musical world, in "55/56" he was voted number one guitar player .He has recorded with Monty Alexander in Germany -But  he return to his native Montego Bay, Jamaica, a layoff until recently (1985) . on This Album - George Mazzeo on traps,Lance Seiler on Congas Chris Seiler on Sax and on Sakura Sakura Othello Molineux is on the steel drums .


Vinyl is strong Mint(Seal)
-amazing super clean copy in top shape
-looks and plays fantastic!
-Has few minor scuffs that don’t look bad or affect play
Almost impossible to find in condition this good

Cover is Mint(seal)
-no splits
-no writing
-minor corner wear
-minor yellowing/agewear but nothing serious

One of the rarest Jazz/Raggae albums ever.This record books for a lot of $ and for good reason!
I hate to let this one go and I can't stress enough how difficult it is to find a clean copy that has survived the test of time.You will be hard pressed to find a better one that what is being offered here!
