and special guests Anouar Brahem and singer Mounir Troudi…
13 cuts(2 non on the CD issue) offering a journey into jazz, melted with electro,trippy percussion,emotion and mystery…Even deeper and even more violent sometimes than his other albums...
Drum and bass, ambient, weird little rhythm experiments, straight-ahead jazzy stuff - pretty much everything he tries here works which is not always the case in this style, or in practice with Truffaz' albums in particular. I find this accessible and quite beautiful in a way that "classic" fusion wasn't always and 70's Miles was rarely - not so difficult to get up with for most listeners. Helps that Truffaz leans toward the "In A Silent Way" end of the spectrum and away from the "Rated X" end. Either way, he's got a gorgeous, limpid tone, a sense of humor, some great ideas that work out well and overall has put together a record that while not knocking me out, makes me smile every time, makes me want to come back, and also makes me think that inside him there lurks a really great one. Maybe it's already out there and I haven't heard it yet, maybe he hasn't recorded it - but I'm pretty sure he can do it.

VG+ = overall wear, but no skips of serious defects, more noisy sound during quiet passages…
sleeve is well worn, usually with considerable ring wear.
VG = plays a lot, heavy wear on record and cover…guarantee does not apply to vg- or worse
condition records.
