I AM BACK TO LISTING LPs OF VARIOUS MUSICAL STYLES FOR THE NEXT FEW WEEKS - This is a reasonably priced ORIGINAL LATE 1960s U.S. BLUE NOTE / LIBERTY RECORDS STEREO PRESSING OF THE 1964 BLUE NOTE RECORDS JAZZ LP titled 'Out To Lunch' from veteran jazz alto sax man Eric Dolphy with a stellar combo. It is Blue Note / Liberty Records catalog number BST-84163, blue Blue Note / Liberty Records labels with 'VAN GELDER' machine stamped in the dry run-out area on both sides of the record. Personnel: Eric Dolphy-alto sax, flute, bass clarinet / Freddie Hubbard-trumpet / bobby Hutcherson-vibes / Richard Davis-bass / Anthony Williams-drums. Tracks: Hat And Beard, Something Sweet Something Tender, Gazzeloni, Out To Lunch, Straight up And Down. Visual condition of record is VG+ with a few visible surface and sleeve marks which cannot be felt and will not affect play. Condition of cover is VG with a little writing on the front and back covers, some light blue staining right along the top edge, a fair amount of contact and ring wear as can be seen in the accompanying image, and a fair amount of wear, fraying, and flaking along the edges. Cover has no splits, tears, or stickers. This LP would be an inexpensive way to add this album to your Blue Note Records or modern jazz record collection!
