Description

Very rare original 1957 Italian 4-track EP by the Enrico Intra Trio. Dal Festival Internazionale del Jazz - San Remo 1957. See scans.

Players: Enrico Intra (piano), Pupo de Luca (drums), Ernesto Villa (double bass).

Tracks:  Modern in S. Remo, Blues // The Classic Jazz, La strada del petrolio. Superb stuff!!!

Extremely rare first recording by a leading figure in Italian jazz.  Inspired by the likes of Bud Powell, Horace Silver, Russ Freeman. Intra was only 21 years old when this recording was made.

Label: La Voce del Padrone (HMV) 7E-MQ 19. Purple/silver label. First and only issue. Condition record/cover: ex/ex. Very rare and recommended!!!
