Description

A VERY RARE ENRICO CARUSO RECORD. G&T Red label 52344 matrix 1783b. This is the second record Caruso recorded for the Gramophone & Typewriter Co. on April 11, 1902. This record has the RARE flush label and NO stamper number, meaning that this is the FIRST pressing of this record. This record never reissued as were many other G&T's on the White label VA & VB series or on the No.2 Historical Catalog of the the prewar days. This is only form of issue. Record is VERY GOOD with only lite nonsounding marks. Some grove graying but plays very well.Not bad for a record that was pressed 107 years ago.
