Those in the know, know, and those in the don't know, don't know: that Endless Boogie are the best kept rock n' roll secret in NYC. Their idea is simple: take the best riff and choogling from the last 30 seconds of a good deep fried blues rock stones-Velvets-Stooges raveup, then make that the start of their song, and extend into ∞. Add some motorik drumming and Beefheart wailing via Paul "Top Dollar" Major and the haze begins to clear.

Live they're a whole different animal. Sometimes they play six songs in a set, sometimes one. All depends on how the groove goes.

Anywho, as with all their vinyl offerings besides their two studio albums, they're hard to come by and run a limited press. This is their most recent (as of 2011, op-ed_, "Twenty Minute Jam Getting Out Of The City." I unfortunately missed their residency at Union Pool in Brooklyn earlier this year where these were sold but their recording label put a few on Discogs earlier this week and I instantly (I mean, I rushed to Discogs as soon as I saw the email that "something on my want list was for sale") snatched it up. It's more killer choogle from these dudes. Side B, "Racister," is the monster choogle.

I highly recommend picking up their two proper studio albums,, which are essential in any upstanding rock n roll citizens collection.

Having snagged this release, I have a near complete Endless Boogie vinyl collection save for their second studio album, which I only have digitally (for now)...

Some VERY LIGHT AND SUPERFICIAL abrasions – mostly sleeve scuffs -  are (barely) visible, but are probably inaudible,  and do not affect visual integrity or beauty of the vinyl. The original luster is very much intact, and the vinyl shines and sparkles almost like new.

(b)          The record is pressed on a RELATIVELY  thick, inflexible vinyl. This is NOT a thin, flimsy ('dynaflex' type),  vinyl, but not the thickest, most rigid vinyl, either.

(c)           The album comes with the original album insert
