A very cool and fun album by this Texas acid psych group on the same label as 13th Floor Elevators and Bubble Puppy.

An informative review from AllMusic Guide: “Like Brinsley Schwartz, Endle St. Cloud is both a person and a band, a peculiar acid-folk-heavy-psych blend from Houston whose 1968 album Thank You All Very Much is one of the odder releases on the semi-legendary International Artists label, also home to the Red Crayola and 13th Floor Elevators. Endle St. Cloud was the lead singer and piano player. Peter Black (formerly of the Lost and Found) played guitar, David F. Potter (of Los Angeles' East Side Kids) added drums, and Andrew Melinger (formerly of Houston's the Iguanas) was the bassist. The group originally formed in early 1968 under the name Endle St. Cloud in the Rain, by which they released the single "Tell Me One More Time (What's Happening to Our World)" backed with "Quest for Beauty." Neither of these songs appears on the group's sole long-player, Thank You All Very Much, which was released later the same year. (Interestingly, although the sleeve shortened the band's name to Endle St. Cloud, the label keeps the group's original, more mysterious name.) More than a year later, when International Artists was trying to come up with a charting follow-up to Bubble Puppy's surprise hit "Hot Smoke and Sassafras," two songs were pulled from this album, "She Wears It Like a Badge" and "Laughter," and released as a single credited simply to Endle, further muddying the nomenclatural waters. By this time, the group had split up; Endle St. Cloud and D.F. Potter split Texas for Los Angeles, where they hooked up with three local musicians and released a self-titled album as Potter St. Cloud on the Mediarts label in 1971.

”A typically freaky 1968 release from the estimably freaky Texas label International Artists, Thank You All Very Much is an all-over-the-map blend of guitar-based heavy psych, early country-rock, and an oddball music hall sound possibly influenced by the Kinks (especially on the jaunty "Jessica") and certainly unusual for a Texan group of their era. Singer and pianist Endle St. Cloud (it's also the band's name, à la Brinsley Schwarz) has an unusual voice with a heavy vibrato and often a higher-than-normal pitch; he sounds a bit like a slightly less-elfin version of T. Rex's Marc Bolan on a lot of tracks. The songwriting is kind of uneven, with the second side, featuring the loosey-goosey groove rocker "Like a Badge" (which has a fake-out turntable-slowing-down ending) and the tense "Laughter," better off than the first. The album's oddest feature has to be the piano solos between each track, which feature St. Cloud performing a variety of hectoring monologues in various character guises. Thank You All Very Much is that rarity, an obscure psych-era platter that's actually worth the trouble it takes to track down.”,/P>

This is an original pressing. The cover has only slight wear, a small name written in ballpoint along the top seam (hardly noticeable), and a tiny touch of H2O discoloration on the back left corner in the song titles (see photos). It is otherwise very crisp and tight - really nice. The white label promo vinyl has some light scuffs and marks – mostly toward the end of side 2 – and there is some light surface noise throughout. However, this is still clean and enjoyable. Conservative grading: Strong VG+/VG+ (cover/record).

I package all LPs securely in record mailers and remove the vinyl from the covers to prevent seam splits during mailing. I do not just stick your record in a priority mailer box from the post office or between two thin pieces of cardboard with no additional packaging materials like so many others!!!
