Description

THE ENDD-45-“Project Blue” b/w “Out Of My Hands”-Seascape Records # SS 501-Killer and MONSTER 1966 LaPorte INDIANA Garage-Punk. Most of you know BOTH sides of this from assorted comps over the years, PEBBLES in particular…if not-both sides are ULTRA-Killer-Kool-A side sounds like the SEEDS’ “Tripmaker” with a deranged staccato fuzz guitar riff which comes in during the turnarounds…KILLER fuzz-guitar Yardbirds Freak-out/Raveup lead break, great bass runs… this was also done by Chicago monster group THE BANSHEES. B side is also great-not as intense as the A side, more on the cryptic side of Garage-vocals and guitars are DRENCHED with reverb, with a crunch-fuzz guitar riff cutting in on the turnaround…has a sort of off-key Asian guitar lead break…bass player is outstanding again on this side-a total tremolo-Reverb drenched Yardbirds Freakout/Raveup lead fuzz guitar break towards the end of the single-not faded-intact and complete lead… both sides end with the tremolo on 10 and the fuzz on 10 as the last lead guitar note rings off… REALLY Killer 2-sider…great band…all of their 45’s RULE!!!


Condition: Record is close to VG+ on ‘Project’ side…VG+ or better on other side…has some very light paper and surface scuffs visible only in certain light angles…nice copy really.
