TITLE/ARTIST: This extremely rare and nearly impossible to find 45 is an ORIGINAL SUN LABEL, Elvis Presley release for Sam Phillips' SUN LABEL, is from way back in 1955. This 45 also comes with an ORIGINAL SUN LABEL COMPANY SLEEVE (by itself, a very collectible piece), which is pictured below (with the straight cut across the top and all). Obviously, this 45 and sleeve combination is really in high demand on the ELVIS PRESLEY collector's market--you just don't see these Sun Label 45's out there at all anymore(there were only 5 songs pressed to begin with)!! The two classic songs on this 45 are "Baby Let's Play House" and "I'm Left, You're Right, She's Gone". It is on the original, SUN LABEL, 217, and looks quite nice. The record LABEL here is really clean and nice with no real mentionable flaws to report at all. The three "push marks" ARE there, but they are circular instead of triangular (see the pics below). The VINYL is fairly shiny and clean, but there are numerous surface/paper lines and marks on each side. However, these are all very superficial and have no effect on the record's play. Also, there are definitely some popping/crackling sounds throughout both songs on this record, but the music easily dominates and prevails. The COMPANY SLEEVE is also extremely hard to find anymore, and is also in pretty nice overall condition. There are some signs of wear and tear along the seams, and one side does have a 2" seam split along it---but, to my eyes, this isn't all that bad at all (see the pics below and judge for yourself). INTERESTING FACTS: This impossible to find original Presley SUN LABEL 45 and sleeve would make an excellent addition to anyone's 50s/Elvis collection---and it seems that all of these original pieces are becoming nearly impossible to find anymore.
