1977 - REISSUE!

"In the 70's, RCA jumped on the 4 Channel LP bandwagon and released three of Elvis' LPs on what they called "Quadradisc". Promised Land was one of the three releases. The first pressing of this LP was on an orange label. Later, when the LP was reissued, it was released on a black label. Much to contrary beleif, the black label is the rarer of the two pressings. This is documented in the new Presleyana VII."
