TITLE/INFO: OK, here is the last of what's left of my Elvis EP collection - and perhaps the very best of the whole lot. For sure, it's in the top three!! This RCA promotional EP is one of the very rarest and most difficult pieces to find anymore........especially in this kind of near perfect condition (please see all 12 photos above and read on). The six (6) song EP - only one of which is sung by Elvis - was released to radio stations by RCA back in 1956 to promote their biggest artists at that time, and is entitled "Perfect For Parties". It was supposedly sent only to radio stations and has "NOT FOR SALE" clearly printed on the record label (see pics above) In addition to the near perfect record and picture sleeve/jacket, this package also includes a special letter from RCA's advertising manager at that time (W.I. Alexander) explaining why this piece was mailed off so late to it's destination - and it's quite interesting. I've tried to picture the letter so it can be read in it's entirety above - and hopefully I did. In  my opinion, this entire package is another record/jacket combo in super nice, close to perfect condition, and I could honestly believe it was never handled or played much at all - so, please see all the pictures above and read on for more info. LABEL INFO: This original, RCA Victor Label (SPA-7-37), is super clean and nice with no visible flaws at all. I don't even see any spindle lines around the center circle at all, which indicates to me it had very little actual play, if any at all. VINYL INFO: Likewise, the vinyl is also super shiny, clean and nice with no visible flaws at all either - it also looks so good it may have never been played.  PICTURE SLEEVE: Finally, just like everything else here, the hard cover picture sleeve/jacket - with a very photogenic picture of Elvis and his guitar - is in terrific condition as well with no issues in need of any mention (again, please see pics above). In short, I can't imagine anyone being disappointed with the condition of this Elvis EP - it truly is close to perfect. INTERESTING FACTS: Yes, everything here appears to be in outstanding condition and it certainly is one ultra rare and very hard to find piece - especially in this kind of shape and with the special letter from RCA. As always, I have begun the auction at a low opening bid with no reserve price - just free and open bidding - so good luck!
