The Elvis Record Pressings for the US Military in Germany had "Nipper" Dog Labels, Except for 47-7777 the only one with the RCA "Bolt" Label

Great authentic, very rare 1960 German pressing of Elvis Presley's "A Mess Of Blues" and "It's Now Or Never" #47-7777, made exclusively for the U.S. military stationed in Germany.  This record was not issued to the civilian public in Germany, it was sold only on the U.S. military bases in Germany.  There were a handful of Elvis records that were pressed in Germany for the U.S. military stationed there.  The label on the U.S. military German pressings had the RCA "Nipper" dog looking into the phonograph, except for 47-7777 which is the only German U.S. military pressing known to be sold with the RCA "Bolt" label.  The German U.S. military pressings were engraved in the "dead wax" area with, "Manufactured In Germany".  On both sides of this record in the dead wax area above the RCA "Bolt" is engraved "Manufactured In Germany", and on both sides in the dead wax area below the 45 is, "45-L2WW-0100-XU".  There's an excellent website,  www.verzameling.page.tl/ARMY-label.htm  that has great information about this record and many other Elvis records, including the rare military issues.  This hard-to-find Elvis record is in great vintage pre-owned used condition; no cracks or breaks to the "vinyl", the paper label is still attached to both sides with minimal age scuffing, the record has been played in the past and the "vinyl" does have use/age wear including surface scratches and scuffs, and there's no sleeve.  I don't have a way to test this record so I don't know if it plays without skips.  However, most collectors don't actually play these rare old records.  I have not cleaned this record, all cleaning is being left up to the buyer's expertise.  This record has been kept in a smoke free environment since it's been in my possession.  I can't say how it was stored prior to that but I haven't noticed any foul odors.  Please carefully review the photos and ask any questions prior to bidding.  This item comes as pictured and will ship within 1 business day of receiving cleared payment.
