ELVIS PRESLEY – (Let Me Be Your) TEDDY BEAR / LOVING YOU (47-7000) RARE LABEL ERROR! HORIZONTAL SILVER LINE ON ONE SIDE ONLY!
RECORD: VG+ (Net) with clean, glossy surfaces! The “Teddy Bear” side plays EXC to NM while the “Loving You” side plays VG due to a scratch that results in repetitive “ticks” as well as some general surface noise. However, there are absolutely no skips or repeats! This is a very rare Rockaway pressing in which the Horizontal Silver Line appears on the “Teddy Bear” side only; it is entirely missing on the “Loving You” side! This double-hit single was released in June of 1957 and is from the Original Soundtrack Recording, “Loving You” (LPM-1515). The matrix numbers end with 6S/6S.
COVER: VG++ (EXC) with absolutely no seam splits, tape, writing or staple holes! Ring wear is present, though quite minimal. Some minor bending/wrinkling along the upper edge is present as well as a lower corner crease. This is a very clean, original Picture Sleeve!
