Description
ELVIS PRESLEY – “SPINOUT” (LPM-3702), A RARE “FLAT LABEL” MONAURAL ISSUE!
RECORD: VG+ on the upper end of the scale with pleasing, glossy surfaces. There are just some very light surface scuffs and scratches that should not have much, if any, effect on the audible performance. This Indianapolis pressing should play great all the way through! The designation for Indianapolis is the "I" inside of the dead wax trail-off and this one has a line etched across it. Not sure what that means, exactly, but the vast majority of the flat labels hail from that pressing plant. This is the first that I have seen for this title, let alone in Monaural. The majority of flat labels out there seem to be Stereo pressings. These labels are Near Mint! There is a wrinkle in the Side 1 label, as can be seen in the photos provided. It is my personal belief, based on my own observations, that these “White Top” flat labels were produced mainly in 1968, just before the changeover to the new Orange Labels. This Original Soundtrack Recording was originally released in October of 1966 and includes the single, “Spinout / All That I Am”. The matrix numbers end with 7S/3S.
COVER: VG++ (EXC) with absolutely no seam splits, tape, writing or staple holes present. The spine, as well as the upper and lower edges, are fully legible and solid. Ring wear is seen on both sides, but it is light. The lower left corner of the back slick is torn away, probably as a result of insufficient adhesive in that area. Overall, a very attractive cover!
INNER SLEEVE: The original “ELVIS’ Great LP Catalog” (40C) sleeve is included.
BONUS PHOTO: Missing from this album.
GOOD LUCK!
I COMBINE SHIPPING! $4 for the first LP, then 25 cents for each additional LP. International Shipping has resumed for select countries. Please do not ask me to check "Gift" instead of "Merchandise" or to declare a low value on the Customs Form! I ship all records in the CORRECT cardboard record mailers, specifically designed for shipping these historic and tough-to-replace treasures to your doorstep in the same condition as when they leave my hands. USPS has been known to find a way to bend these boxes on occasion, hard as that may be to believe, so items valued at $30 or more will be shipped automatically with insurance at no additional cost to the buyer. ALL of my records are U.S. pressings unless otherwise stated. Payment is expected within 5 (Five) days from close of auction via PAY PAL ONLY – NO EXCEPTIONS, PLEASE. I normally ship within three business days from close of auction, but please allow a little extra time in the event of a holiday. Please do not bid if you do not intend to pay! Returns are accepted if you are accepted if you are not completely satisfied with your item. I strongly believe that my grading of records is spot-on, but we’re all human and something may occasionally be missed upon inspection. I will do my best to ensure customer satisfaction. 2018 marks 40 years of experience for me in this wonderful hobby. I specialize in Elvis Presley.
