Disc Wrapped in -

Open Paper Picture Insert Gatefold Type Sleeve/Cover.Inside A Poly Liner

Released Only In Australia

This is indeed a Special Delivery of rare and elusive Elvis recordings from the archives that have eluded fans for decades.Even the picture sleeve is unusual.

Side One :

1. BRITCHES (1.39)

2. A CANE AND A HIGH STARCHED COLLAR (2.41)

Both, A Cane And A High Starched Collar and Britches were recorded in August 1960 for the soundtrack of the film Flaming Star but were omitted.

Side Two :

1. DANNY (1.50 )

2. BEYOND THE REEF ( 3.06 )

A similar fate befell Danny which was originally going to be the title song of King Creole. As with Beyond The Reef ,this was one of 18 tracks recorded at Rca Nashville in May 1966,the same session that produced the Grammy award winning How Great Thou Art album.Due to a technical fault with the backtrack ( later recut in 1968 ) the song was held from release and subsequently forgotten about for twelve years.

The cover and vinyl look unmarked.However,there are a couple of short light clicks on side two,track two,nothing major.Otherwise,it sounds great and is in Excellent condition throughout.
