Description
Hi, offered for sale is an original Elvis Presley SUN 45 RPM record, #217, "I'm Left, You're Right, She's Gone" B/W "Baby Let's Play House." This is a very nice copy of one of these rare Elvis SUN singles, in Very Good Plus (VG+) grade/condition. The labels are better--Excellent condition. In fact, the "A" side with "I'm Left, You're Right..." can be considered better than VG Plus--EXCELLENT. Please see the pictures. There are the "Push-Marks" from the record press as are usually seen on original Elvis SUNs, and the "Matrix Numbers" are correct, with the proper spacing of the "7" suffix, etc. "I'mLeft, You'reRight, She'sGone" is likewise exactly as it should be on an original SUN pressing--The words are "stuck" together, with no space between the words. I originally purchased this record from a very reputable dealer, and when I received it, I very carefully examined it, using my magnifiers, loupes, etc. I found it to be absolutely authentic. The yellow SUN labels on each side are of the type and print that are correct for the 1950's. If you turn the disc over, you will see that the label on the "B" side is NOT in exact alignment/placement, with the "A" side label. ALL of these points and details are very important, as unfortunately these days FAKES/COUNTERFEITS/MIS-REPRESENTATIONS/ERRORS IN ATTRIBUTION, are all-too-common! The record will come with a special, top-quality display frame that I purchased separately for the display and protection of it. The record of course is easily removeable from the frame (I removed it for the scanned-photos here.) This frame has all archivally-correct components: An acid-free mat board, real-wood frame and special 90% non-glare, UV light filtering glass. There were two choices of glass available--45% and 90%--I went with the more expensive 90%, as I believe the record should be protected as much as possible (especially with these EXCELLENT-grade SUN labels.) The entire frame was MADE IN USA. UNITED STATES BUYERS ONLY, PLEASE. Thank You for looking, and I hope someone decides to add this very nice copy of an original Elvis SUN single to their collection.
