Ultra-Rare 1960 UK 78rpm – The Penultimate RCA Shellac Release
​Offered here is a legitimate "hen’s tooth" for the serious Presley collector. Released in May 1960 following the King's return from military service, this was the penultimate 78rpm ever issued by RCA in the UK. While the final release is often heralded as a "shellac grail," this particular issue is significantly scarcer. In years of collecting, this is the only copy I have ever encountered.
​Condition & Technical Details:
​Matrix Numbers: Side A: L2WB-0083-1T / Side B: L2WB-0084-1T
​Side A (Stuck On You): Immaculate. Displays a superb factory luster and looks virtually unplayed.
​Side B (Fame and Fortune): Originally showed surface staining; however, a professional wash has considerably reduced the marking, revealing much of the original shine. It remains a cosmetic issue only and does not affect playback.
​Audio: Clear and punchy, as expected from these late-era "New Orthophonic" high-fidelity pressings. (See video for play-test).
