ELVIS PRESLEY – ROUSTABOUT (LSP-2999) RARE ALL-SILVER PRINT “STEREO – SILVER TOP” HOLLYWOOD PRESSING from 1964!

RECORD: VG+ with clean glossy surfaces! This RARE Hollywood pressing was test-played in its entirety and the Stereo sound was magnificent as the record played with great clarity! However, there was some minor surface noise (light “hiss”) detected between each track during the test. There are some very light scuffs, but no scratches on the playing surfaces. This is the RARE, “Silver Top” Hollywood pressing with “STEREO” at the base of the labels! These are the earliest Hollywood pressings as all initial pressings were manufactured in the same manner as all previous RCA Victor releases since 1956. Obviously, the Hollywood pressing plant didn’t get the memo to change their labels to the newly revised “White Top” style until after a short run of these were pressed and released! Therefore, those residing on the West Coast had prime opportunity to purchase these “Silver Tops” at their local record shops and department stores upon initial release. All Indianapolis and Rockaway pressings bear the newer “White Top” labels. The matrix numbers end with 1S/1S.

COVER: VG++ (EXC) with no seam splits, tape, writing or staple holes. However, there is some light to moderate ring wear on both sides as well as some edge and corner wear. The original “ELVIS’ Great LP Catalog” (40A) is included.

All records are shipped in the correct cardboard folding mailers with the record separated from the cover, then inserted together within a clear polyvinyl sleeve, then sandwiched between two sheets of cardboard filler pads within the mailer to best protection.

Returns are accepted if you are not completely satisfied with your item. I stand behind everything sold here on eBay!
