ELVIS PRESLEY – ROUSTABOUT (LPM-2999) RARE “SILVER TOP” MONO!

RECORD: VG+ on the upper end of the grade with beautiful, glossy surfaces! There is just a bit too many very light scuffs to aesthetically warrant the higher grade, even though this Hollywood pressing plays like a NM record! The MONO labels are beautiful with only a few light spindle marks visible. “Roustabout” was the very last Elvis Presley album to have the MONO and STEREO “Silver Top” labels and they were pressed exclusively at the Hollywood pressing plant! “White Top” Indianapolis and Rockaway copies are indeed First Pressings, however, a “White Top” Hollywood copy is most definitely a Second Pressing! The matrix numbers on all these that I have ever encountered are 3S/12S and this copy is no exception.

COVER: VG++ (EXC) with no seam splits, tape, writing or staple holes. There is just a small amount of edge wear and only a hint of ring wear on both sides. Some trivial wear is noticed at the corner tips. The original “ELVIS’ Great LP Catalog” (40A) inner sleeve is included but one side has a complete tape-repaired split.

All records are shipped in the correct cardboard folding mailers with the record separated from the cover, then inserted together within a clear polyvinyl sleeve, then sandwiched between two sheets of cardboard filler pads within the mailer to best protection.
